Second Stage Round 9: Indios - Marineros 101-93

There was no surprise in San Francisco where 5th rankedMarineros (10-13) were defeated by second ranked Indios (13-9) 101-93 . Indios made 30-of-34 charity shots (88.2 percent) during the game, while Marineros only scored eleven points from the stripe. It was a good game for American guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with 31 points and 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Luismal Ferreiras (200-2003) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Forward Andersson Garcia (201-2000, college: Texas A&M) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Sydney Curry (203-2000, college: GCU) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Marineros. Five Indios and four Marineros players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Indios maintains second place with 13-9 record behind leader Metros. Marineros at the other side keep the fifth position with 13 games lost.
